Collaboration

When you work with others in an organization, Lykert tells you what needs you and shows you what is scheduled. This page covers notifications, the inbox and the calendar.

You hear about things that involve you: a teammate mentions you in a task comment, hands a task to you, asks you to review one, approves your work or sends it back.

The bell shows how many notifications are unread. Choose it to see the latest few. From there you can choose Mark all read or Open full inbox. When nothing is waiting it says You are all caught up.

Open Inbox from the sidebar. It lists your notifications, newest first. Unread ones have a dot beside them and a heavier title.

Use the tabs to narrow the list:

  • All
  • Unread
  • Mentions
  • Reviews: review requests, approvals and tasks sent back
  • Archived

Each row opens the task it is about. On a row you can choose Mark read or Mark unread, and Archive to move it to Archived. Mark all read clears the unread count.

Open Account, then Notifications. The page lists each kind of notification, such as Handoffs, Review requests and Mentions. For each one, set how it reaches you in In-app and Email: Off, Immediately, Daily digest, Weekly digest or Monthly digest.

The same page has Quiet hours. Your organization’s admins can set quiet hours. The box Hold my notifications during my organization’s quiet hours lets you opt out of the hold. Only you can see this setting. Urgent messages can still reach you. You can also snooze notifications for a while, and choose End snooze to stop early.

Open Calendar from the sidebar. Use Day, Week, Month or Agenda to change the view, Today to jump back, and the previous and next buttons to move through time. An empty agenda says Nothing scheduled.

The Day and Week views also show the time you have tracked, next to your events.

Choose New event, or drag on the grid in the Day or Week view. A small form asks for an Event title. Choose Save, or More options for the full form:

  • Title
  • All day
  • Start date, Start time, End date and End time
  • Location
  • Description

The end must be after the start.

When you edit or delete a repeating event, Lykert asks Which events: This event, This and following events or All events.

The Getting there section of the event form helps you leave on time. Pick a saved Place, or fill in Arrive early (min), Travel there (min) and Travel back (min). Lykert then shows when you need to Leave by.

Choose Places on the Calendar page to save the places you go to often. Each place has a Name, an Address and its own default minutes.

Switch on Notify my team to pick teammates from the Who to notify list. Choose the ones who should hear about the event.
